New and affordable International Shipping Service

We are pleased to announce our new affordable international shipping service from Global Post, starting May of 2022 The new rates intend to lessen the burden of expensive international shipping rates in place for the past years.

Global Post's partnership with worldwide postal carriers in over 200 countries allows for more flexibility and affordability providing International Economy service rate at a reasonable price of USD$10.50 worldwide and USD$6 in Canada

International Economy service in short

International Economy shipping service operates slightly different than the US First Class Parcel International, which provides delivery confirmation for selected countries through the Delcon Program, but doesn’t provide tracking information to the final destination in most countries.

International Economy rate operated by Global Post, offers a “Door to Country” service, which means, the package is tracked until it reaches the mail facility of the destination country. Since not all mail facilities are equipped to provide electronic delivery confirmation at the time of delivery, tracking to the final recipient may or may not be provided.

How does International Economy shipping work?

We print the label for your international package and ship it to the nearest Global Post shipping center in the United States, called Global Post Hub (it arrives in about 4 to 5 days)

The Global Post hub sort and process the package, upon receipt and ship it to the country of destination for customs clearance. This would be the last piece of tracking information for your package.

Once the shipment clears customs, the foreign Postal office - the Postal service in your country- receives and delivers the package to the final destination. Delivery confirmation is collected if applicable

If applicable, taxes and duties are paid by the recipient. Insurance coverage lost or damaged. However, no refund will be provided for unclaimed packages, refusal to pay for duties and taxes, or unknown or incomplete addresses

How long does it take for the package to be delivered?

Delivery time varies depending on the destination country but typically it takes 3 to 4 weeks for delivery. Customs clearance, delay on import taxes by the recipient, or unclaimed packages as internal postal service procedures might affect prompt delivery.

What happens if I don’t receive the package?

If you have not received your package in approximately four weeks, we initiate a claim to locate your package or find the reason why the package has not been delivered. We are unable to refund unclaimed packages at customs for unpaid duties and taxes if applicable

What if I don’t want to use the International Economy Service

In addition to this service, we continue to offer US Postal Service- International First Class Parcel which offers delivery confirmation to selected countries within the Delcon program for USD$18.50

Packages arrive in 2 to 3 weeks in some countries but it may take longer depending on the country of destination.

Can I use a Mail Forwarding  in the US?

Some customers prefer to use  Mail Forwarding carrier in the US for delivery overseas. 

Mail Forwarding is a service to forward mail, letters, packages, etc from a US-based address (Not a P.O. Box!) for consumers who desire to take advantage of lower item and international shipping costs. By having a US-based address to ship items to, consumers can have more choice in what they buy, when, and where. These services have now changed, and many mail forwarding companies offer other incentives, such as: Concierge service (They will purchase for you), Consolidation service (Many packages combined to one), Virtual mailbox (Storage), Customs declaration, etc.

It usually takes us an extra day or so to validate orders placed through these services so we ship it in 48 hours after our validating process is completed
