As they say..the larger the splint, the more it will stay in place. HOWEVER, it is always best and safe to use thin clear stretchy strings (you can buy them at Walmart or any craft store--they are called "Fasion Chords")...they are what they use for stretchy ankle braclets and/or beading. This has been my invented way of being able to use this size. I tie (double knotted) to each MIDDLE to each split. You may want to experiment with different lentghs to see how long your chord should be. Make sure it isn't too short--or when you put the splints inside, it will only squeeze your middle nostral together making you look like a "pig"..lol..so just be sure to try different lengths. Always use the removal tool even if you have the chords connected. But as directed by product--do not swim, workout, or sleep with these on. I also recommend that you don't go on rollarcoasters when them on--high pressure can make them slip up..however, with the stretchy chords, this will help keep them in place anyhow. The chord will be outside your nose--but as long as it is clear and thin, it should be unnoticable. It worked for me. And you have to pull on them really hard for them to "rip"..don't use cotton chords--just clear plastic "stretch" chord. Kind of like how the nose swimming things you put in your nose while swimming--how a peice is on the outside that "mends" them together--that's how the strings are. :) Again, this is not 100% safe, but safer then without. ;)

The size S did a great job in making my round nose contoured. But I wanted to see if the XS gave me a more subtle or natural lift in my round nose vs the S. The is XS turned out to bee too small. But the nose secret is an amazing product and I'm thankful I found it. I feel more confident about the shape of my nose when I take pictures!
